Puja Description
This Puja is performed after the ten-day impure postnatal period. It is generally on the 11th day after the child’s birth. The puja involves cleaning the house thoroughly and performing the Ganapathi and Kalasha puja. The water used that is used in the puja is sprinkled on the mother, baby, father and everyone in the house. The Prokshanam is done in all the parts of the house.
